On first start, I usually expect the first selection of an element to take a second or 2 due to the BB_DG_ESCHEMA_CACHE. However, after this intialisation selecting elements should be instant. But, If I try to select a large number of elements(and when I say large, generally anything over 1 or 2) ABD just hangs for a few seconds.
If I want to select all elements in the file, or a really large number of elements then I can be waiting for upwards of 10/15 minutes for ABD to free itself from spinning blue circle hell. Essentially the selection seems to work instantly, then ABD thinks about it and freezes.
In Task manager, it shows ABD working away with around 5-10% processing power and RAM at around 2-3GB mark. On really large models, it just crashes and i cannot perform this action. (reason I would need to is IFC export - selecting elements is only way to export selectively)
In SS5, this used to occur when the BB_DG_ESCHEMA_CACHE variable was not set, but in SS6/SS6.1 this variable has been added into system so should not be affecting it too much. All paths exist, the schema cache.xml exists, so my presumption is that it must be some kind of dataleak.
Anybody any ideas, or experience the same
