I also wonder how quickly the intellectual effort/time required to design and implement a valid constraint/relationship system for a complex set of spaces could outweigh the effort required by more conventional approaches? A Space Syntax Ltd consultancy opportunity perhaps? Such an approach requires a really well formed brief.
Is this something that can be delivered by a generalised rules engine or does it actually require compex rule generation for each instance?
