Hi all: it's time for the annual "Hey, did you know there's a Building track for AECOSim Users out there this year?" post.
For those who are in search of a good old fashioned Philly-like "All tracks in one place" kind of experience, please consider attending the Mid America CADD Community conference in the Kansas City area on August 1-2, 2017. You can go to http://midamericacadd.org/ to get on the mailing list, and to see more information. Registration is opening very soon (like this week). Please keep an eye out.
Session tracks include Platform, Civil, Plant, Building, Utilities, Emerging Technologies. Workshop tracks include Civil, Descartes, Plant and Utilities.
From an Building / AECOSim standpoint, we have the Building Track on Day 1 (listed at http://files.midamericacadd.org/2017/MACC_2017_Sessions.pdf ) They are in flux slightly as we tie down the sessions. If YOU would like to present, please feel free to drop myself or our speaker coordinator (Ben Swanson-Chrisman) at either fosters@bv.com or Swanson-ChrismanBD@bv.com. Currently, Cory Brugger from Morphosis will be presenting on a topic. Cory is also the current AIA Technology in Practice chair.
In Addition: The MACC group is co-hosting a ProjectWise Special Interest Group (SIG) meeting with ProjectWise sessions and workshops.
Registration is $150/day; that covers admission to sessions, breakfast/lunch, snacks and workshops (first come first serve.) If you register early, there will be a slight discount. We do have an evening event which in the past has always been a fun time to network....get your trivia skills sharpened!
The MACC group have attendees from all over the world, including the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Denmark, Sweden...so don't think this is a "local" user group....we're happy to have you all come to Kansas City.
Thanks and I hope you all can join us.
