Using multiple Compound cells in the DGN file resulting a very heavy file size, Is there any cure control the file size?

I have to use large number of Compound cells (Approximately 800-1200) in my design file, which ends up with a very heavy file size (600 Mb). And the file stops working whenever I try to switch between views.

Hoe can I have a smooth file operation?
