I am currently using AECOsim Building Designer CONNECT Edition. Ever since instalment about 3 months ago, I have had a problem with the selection tool which happens constantly. An example is, if I select an object to copy, and then select a point to copy from and then start to move the cursor to the place I want to copy the object to, the software decides to dump a random copy anywhere that the cursor happens to be at that point and make a copy without my clicking a single button. And when I eventually do click a point I want to copy the object to, and then move my cursor away, the software will more often than not dump further random copies - again, without my clicking a mouse button, and wherever the cursor position happens to be at that point. I would say if during copy or move (or pretty much any command) the selection tool reacts this way 9 times out of 10, and is very temperamental - very jumpy. I use the 'tentative' method for selection (wheel button). I am running windows 10. I also use AutoCAD but never have problems anything like this. I have also changed the mouse 3 times but this has made no difference. Does anybody else get this problem?
