I have tried 'Drawing Boundary' in AECOsim SS6 and in CONNECT Edition, in either case it does not seem to have any effect on the visible aspect of the drawing, so what is it for?
In the attached image the reference drawing was 'fence clip' inside the borders of the A1 title block and the grid labels were 'fence stretched' in the ‘drawing model’ to fit inside the A1 sheet borders while the ‘Drawing Boundary’ does nothing outside the title block as shown. Unfortunately, this is only a temporary solution for one-off printing because when you re-open the file after closing, the grid recovers back to its original position beyond the borders and labels are cropped out; meaning the above exercises needs repeating for every print. Could the ‘Drawing Boundary’ not be put to good use by containing the reference drawing including grid labels inside the A1 borders as the name suggests?
