Can not open a DGN file using AECOsim- Alert message pop up stating the file is not the file type recognized by Microstation

Hi there

I am experiecing issue with opening up the DGN file on ProjectWise. On the ProjectWise the file was shown checked out by me with the check mark beside it, everything works as usual until an alert window pop up, it mentioned the file was not the file type recognized by Microstation!

I did not use the Microstation at all for the file.

I am using the following AECOsim version :
