How to create a clock and flag and how to change the material?

I would like to create a clock like this   and a flag how can I create it? 

In addition, I use frame builder to create a door like this  . The glass look so ugly and not transparent. Moreover, I don't know how to change the materials of the door , I would like to change it to wood. Plz Help!!!
