Interesting announcement about the new gunfighters in town: Bentley Virtuosity
Equally Intresting write-up about dissatisfaction with Autodesk R*vit.

Hmmm... Fosters and BDP not on the list?
I am struck by the number of ex or current Bentley users on the list of complainers. These companies would have a lot of Bentley licenses that have been displaced by R*vit licenses (as well as Rhino as CAD backup) over the years. And all that expensive additional apps and scripting and external consulting fees paid to set up and run a R*vit-centric production environment.
Time to get in there with some incentivisation to re-activate those dormant licenses with Virtuosity Keys that incorporate ProjectWise 365 and free Peloton-style training sessions/subscriptions for those furloughed staff (not) working from home? Enhanced dataset setup and monitoring? Set up is one big barrier for newbie or returnee firms that have shed their Bentley-savvy support staff years ago.
