The Label Coordinate tool is pretty important. The ability to automatically read the correct Z as well as the X,Y model coordinates is critical to ensuring coordination. I hope that this tool continues to be improved.
1. The LC tool still does not work in the Sheet Model. We are often prevented from annotating in the Drawing Models. I think this is mainly to maintain compatibility with DWG which can only have one Model Space but multiple Paper Spaces.. so the annotation has to be in the Paper Space / Sheet Model. For details and large projects, we are also starting to see BIM managers encouraging the placing of Dynamic Views as Saved Views directly in the Sheet Models... to minimise the number of intermediate Drawing Models that can slow and bloat the 'model container' files.
It would be a pity to go back to manual calculation of these coordinates... and not very 'Level 2'. A disaster, really.
2. Associativity: this is also quite important. Surprised that this still isn't possible.
3. The tool could do with some witness line functionality and cater a little more to drawing conventions. Encouraged to see our Russian collegues have already figured this out. It would be great to 'internationalise' the code? U8?
