Airports are big outfits with steady workstreams and enough market power to demand contractors and consultants doing work for them use the BIM platform of their choice.
They also tend to have:
1. tons of legacy CAD data, probably in DWG format.
2. large design extents / datasets.
3. lots of civils requirements that would need Bentley products like Geopak, Openroads, SUDA/SUE etc.
4. lots of documents and QA procedures to manage.
5. lots of stuff to laser/photo survey.
6. lots of environmental statements and planning / landscape related studies to be done.
7. ...?
Should be a shoo-in for Bentley.
