Can anyone point me to what field is used when exchanging information with Excel? is it ElementID? GUID?
The reason I ask is we want to take out the information using DG export, re-arrange and manipulate/edit in excel, then re-import. Can i completely re-shuffle rows (or even columns) in excel? Do they need to be "lined up" the same way they were exported when i re-import them?
I was planning to use a series of Vlookups in excel and leave the data-structure untouched, then paste information back into that, but if AECOsim includes the facility of re-matching data on the import I can avoid this.
