"dg modify data", click element, Right click catalog entry, Delete, OK is probably what you're looking for, but I agree it would be nice to have an icon for it. Bentley changed modify datagroup to "dgex modify data", which allows you to change pretty much everything, instead of just allowing you to choose another catalog item, but that lacks the ability to simply delete the datagroup information. You could make a button in the interface and remember to use the second "Modify" and the,Right Button/Delete to simply Remove the DG information.
This can be useful if you created a stairs with stairmaker and accidentally added AHU DG information to it.
I must have logged a ST for that ages ago. Maybe it's best if more people go through the same old motions to actually get something done. I see little benefit in adding an actual TFREMOVE button to the Data Toolbox.
