Ah OK, glad that was a misinterpretation! However, if your switch has primarily 100Mb ports I'd still recommend an upgrade to a 1000Mb switch.
When launching AECOsim in MicroStation mode the AECOsim tools and menus are not loaded but the dgnlibs conatining levels etc are available. This is so files created in another AECOsim mode are fully supported by the levels etc.
Exactly where are you seeing the 'Arch/Elec/Mech saved views'?
