Not sure if this is in the right section or not - I find this site to have the worst forum layout I've ever seen. If I'm in the wrong section please direct me elsewhere.
I own a perpetual license for AECOsim building designer, firstly when I activated it I always had a little bit of issue with which option to use. I.e. Select user, non select user, node locked user etc. And I think I tried a couple of them before my AECOsim activated.
After activation it all worked fine. But fast forward one year later to today, the program flicked over to a 7 day trial version. I tried activating it, nothing seemed to work. When I used the select user or non select user I'm pretty sure from memory it said it was activated yet I was still on the trial. Then the node locked user method always gave me an operation failed outcome. So I thought I'd wait until the trial ended and deal with it then.
Trial ended, tried to activate, got the same result as last time, with the select user/non select user it said it was activated - but wasn't. Then when I did the node locked and got the operation failed outcome, AECOsim would just suddenly open afterwards and put me back on a 7 day trial.
I've done this about 5 times now and I don't know what to do to get the product to stay activated as it has been previously.
